The Iona Symphonic Wind Orchestra is open to students from Years 8 to 12 who have previous concert band experience or around three years of playing experience. This ensemble brings together woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments, offering students the chance to perform a diverse and challenging musical repertoire at an advanced level.

To ensure the ensemble progresses and thrives throughout the year, it is preferable for members to take private lessons, which helps us explore a wider variety of pieces. Join us to enhance your musical skills, connect with fellow musicians, and enjoy the rewarding experience of playing in a symphonic wind orchestra.
